A birthday message that people actually remember is hard to find. Cards get lost and texts disappear in a chat. An African happy birthday video is different: a real team of dancers holds up a sign with your friend's name, dances and sends your wish straight to the camera. It takes a minute to watch, and people replay it for years.
What is an African happy birthday video?
It is a short video, about one minute long, filmed by a dance team in Africa for one specific person. The team writes the name and your message on a chalkboard, dances and wishes them a happy birthday. You receive the finished video and share it however you like: WhatsApp, Telegram, email, or on a big screen at the party.
How it works
- Choose a team. Greeting Dance Video has 36 teams, from pirates on the beach and warriors in traditional costumes to frogs, boxers and a team at the Egyptian pyramids.
- Write the name and your wish. Any language works: English, German, Spanish, Czech, Italian or any other.
- Get your video within 24 hours.
How to spot a real one
Search results are full of offers, and buyers often ask whether these videos are real. Check a few things before you order:
- Real filming. The team should be filmed for your order, with the name written on the sign, not pasted onto a template or generated by AI.
- A clear price and delivery time before you pay.
- Behind-the-scenes content. Sellers who work with real teams can show them. See ours on the Behind The Scene page.
- Fair work. Ask how the dancers are paid. At Greeting Dance Video every order pays the dancers for their work and helps support their village.
When to send one
Birthdays are the classic, but people also order dance greetings for anniversaries, weddings, Christmas and New Year, Valentine's Day, Halloween, a new job, or simply to cheer someone up.
How much does it cost?
A personal video starts at $29.90 and is ready in one day. Choose your team →
